Traffic Marshall

Hays Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Traffic Marshal / Banksman to work on a busy commercial construction project in Leyland.
This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and safety-conscious individual to join a well-established site team on a temporary basis, with immediate starts available.
Your new role

Safely directing the movement of vehicles and plant machinery around site.
Banking deliveries and ensuring safe access and egress for all vehicles.
Managing delivery schedules and liaising with drivers upon arrival.
Controlling pedestrian and vehicle segregation to maintain site safety.
Monitoring site access points and ensuring only authorised personnel enter site.
Assisting with gate duties and signing visitors and deliveries in and out.
Maintaining clear and safe traffic routes around the construction site.
Communicating effectively with site management, operatives and delivery drivers.
Reporting hazards, near misses and safety concerns promptly.
Supporting general site operations when vehicle movements are minimal.

What you'll need to succeed

Valid Traffic Marshal / Banksman qualification.
CSCS Card.
Previous experience working on busy construction sites.
Strong awareness of construction health and safety regulations
