About the Role

A primary school in Leyland is looking to appoint a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support pupils until the end of the academic year. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working in a classroom environment and supporting children with a range of learning needs.

The position involves general Teaching Assistant duties, with a strong focus on SEND support, helping pupils to access learning and reach their full potential.

Key Duties

Supporting classroom activities and lesson delivery

Providing tailored support to pupils with SEND

Working one-to-one or in small groups

Helping maintain a positive and inclusive classroom

Supporting behaviour and emotional wellbeing

Candidate Requirements

Previous experience supporting children

SEND experience preferred but not essential

Calm, caring, and adaptable approach

Commitment to supporting pupils’ progress

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
