THE ROLE You'll be working closely with secondary-aged students, providing pastoral and emotional support and helping pupils to engage positively with school. The successful candidate will be someone who is:
Confident supporting young people with mental health and emotional wellbeing Experienced in managing and responding to challenging behaviour Calm, patient and reassuring , even in difficult situations Positive, approachable and able to build strong relationships A confident communicator who can work effectively with pupils, staff and families Passionate about making a genuine difference to young people's lives ? EXPERIENCE ESSENTIAL You must have experience working with secondary-aged children , either within a secondary school environment or a similar setting such as youth work, mentoring or other relevant support work .
