Water Network Pressure Tester & Chlorinator

A opportunity has arisen for a Water Network Pressure Tester & Chlorinator who will join our team. We will look to put you through a company training programme, this is a fantastic opportunity to have a long-term career with Aptus Utilities.

To provide a full water supply and connections service which includes hydrostatic testing and disinfection of mains and water sampling. To travel all over the country in our high-spec, custom-built vehicles, testing new-build properties to ensure the water supply on our clients’ developments is safe and ready for residents moving in.

• Operating on newly constructed PE & Metallic pipelines:
  • Hydrostatic pressure testing
  • Chlorination and sampling
  • Monitoring and recording extraction of pipe scouring swabs
• Liaison with Host Water Authority Engineers

• Hold a full driving licence (essential)
• Construction Experience (desirable)
• Undertaking of Pressure Testing and Chlorination of new laid water mains (desirable)

Training will be provided for the successful candidate under the mentorship of the Water Technician and will also include:

• Mains hygiene
• SHEA Water
• Hydrostatic water testing
• Chlorination and sampling
