- Deliver harness and routing designs for 4- and 6-cylinder engine platforms and EV platforms
- Collaborate with Project Management and the Vehicle Test Team to finalise timelines and coordinate electrical harnessing materials for prototype builds
- Develop electrical design and schematic inputs
- Route harnesses using 3D tools
- Participate in design reviews and provide engineering support throughout the product development lifecycle
- Support packaging, design and development of low- and high-voltage harness systems for BEVs
- Evaluate low-voltage distribution concepts for next-generation EV vehicles, considering DCDC power levels, power distribution and low-voltage battery management
- Work with cross-functional teams to support system integration, design validation and issue resolution
- Work in a hybrid fashion with at least 3 days per week on-site in Leyland
- Undertake occasional travel
- Degree level qualification in Engineering with relevant background, or HNC/HND with significant demonstrable experience in lieu
- Full UK (or equivalent) driving licence
- Extensive experience in the design and development of automotive wiring harnesses
- Experience using CREO and Saber
- Automotive wiring harness design and development using Saber
- PTC Creo for electrical wire harness design/routing
- PTC Windchill PLM toolset
- Understanding of EV platforms
- Understanding of wire harness manufacturing
- Strong understanding of electrical safety standards and compliance
- Microsoft Office tools:
Excel, Outlook, Teams and Word - Ability and willingness to work on the client site in Leyland
- Self-sufficient, self-motivated and an excellent team player

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail
