We are currently seeking a skilled CNC Miller to join a manufacturer based in Chorley. This is a fantastic opportunity for a time‑served machinist who is confident in programming, setting, and running their own jobs directly from technical drawings.
CNC Miller Job Overview- Programming, setting, and operating Heidenhain CNC milling machines
- Working directly from engineering and technical drawings
- Ensuring jobs are completed to tight tolerances and quality standards
- Performing basic machine maintenance and quality checks
- Maintaining a safe and clean working environment
Job Requirements
- Time‑served CNC Miller with proven Heidenhain experience
- Ability to program at the machine confidently
- Heidenhain control experience preferred
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings and measuring equipment
- Self‑motivated and capable of working independently
- Competitive hourly rate of £16.62
- 4% company pension contribution
- Supportive team environment and clean workshop
