Seward County Community College (SCCC) is a two‑year institution offering 45 programs of study including Adult Basic Education, certificates, and associate degrees. SCCC serves a diverse student body of 2,500+ students across rural Kansas and neighboring states.
Responsibilities- Provide overall leadership, management, and direction for the residence life program, ensuring safe and conducive housing for students.
- Oversee business management of residence halls, including billing, policy review, housing registration, and maintenance of student records.
- Coordinate campus and housing security, compile the annual Clery Act report, and respond to emergencies.
- Select, train, monitor, and supervise housing staff, resident assistants (RAs), and security personnel; provide professional development, performance reviews, and incident reporting.
- Enforce college rules, conduct disciplinary interventions, and maintain a residential community that encourages participation in academic, developmental, and social activities.
- Maintain activity logs, incident reports, and emergency preparedness plans.
- Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred).
- 6 months to 2 years of college housing experience or supervisory experience in a related educational field.
Competitive salary commensurate with education and experience. Room and board are included.
