Responsibilities
Position is responsible for teaching agriculture courses. The instructor will engage in a variety of learning support and institutional practices, advising, and mentoring of students in ag related majors. The instructional focus is animal science and livestock production. Responsible for livestock judging. This includes coaching and traveling with the livestock judging team and representing SCCC at local, regional, state, and national collegiate livestock judging contests, and student recruitment.
Responsibilities also include development and establishment of plant growth activities practicum/internship programs.
Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Agriculture or subfield or a Master’s with 18 graduate hours in discipline or subfield, required. Previous teaching instruction in community college or secondary education preferred.

Salary Range
Salary commensurate with education and experience.
Position Status: Full-Time, 12-month position, 248 days

Selection Process
The search committee will conduct all minimum qualification appraisals as set forth on the position announcement and job description and reserve the right to limit the number of interviews granted.
