Job Overview

National Beef Packing of Liberal, Kansas is hiring a Maintenance Technician to support our production facilities. Candidates should have experience in food processing, electrical work, or ammonia/refrigeration systems, and be ready to grow their skills.

• Fix, maintain, and repair mechanical equipment, buildings, and machines.
• Rebuild, repair, and replace equipment and parts.
• Perform preventative maintenance.
• Install equipment and parts.
• Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems.
• Create daily activity reports.
• Collaborate with management and other departments regarding maintenance issues.

• Mechanical skills and understanding of basic machine functions.
• Proficiency with common tools (hammers, saws, drills, wrenches).
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Excellent safety record.
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English (preferred).
