Sales Representative, Outside Sales
This position involves selling the full range of products and services offered by the Company. Responsibilities include making outside sales calls, securing orders or contracts, and demonstrating products at off-site customer locations. The role also entails managing sales within assigned territories.
Responsibilities- Conduct full-service lease sales through the Pac Lease system.
- Handle contract maintenance sales, vehicle finance sales, new and used vehicle sales, and equipment rentals.
- Contact new prospects via direct mail, telemarketing, and cold calls.
- Develop and present sales proposals for all product and service offerings.
- Follow up with prospects and close sales.
- Manage the existing Pac Lease customer base.
- Develop and coordinate marketing strategies and pursue creditworthy prospects aggressively.
- Prepare weekly sales call reports and submit them to the Director of Pac Lease.
- Bachelor’s degree or 5 years of outside sales experience.
- Valid driver’s license in the state of employment and a qualified MVR abstract.
- Experience in the transportation industry.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Comprehension: Ability to understand complex issues, negotiate, and integrate different viewpoints.
- Organization: Ability to organize and prioritize work on a short-term basis.
- Reasoning & Decision Making: Ability to make impactful decisions affecting department credibility and operations.
- Communication: Ability to prepare complex materials and make formal presentations.
- Mathematics: Ability to analyze complex data, develop forecasts, and create models.
