Position OverviewGasser Chair is seeking an Account Manager to serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customer accounts, supporting orders from quote through delivery while ensuring alignment with customer expectations, internal standards, and sustainability initiatives.
Reporting to the Sales Operations & Sustainability Manager, this role works closely with Logistics, Engineering, and Manufacturing to ensure accurate communication, timely execution, and consistent service across all stages of the customer relationship. The Account Manager plays a key role in maintaining account continuity, supporting sales strategies, and identifying opportunities for account growth.
Key ResponsibilitiesServe as the main point of contact for assigned accounts, responding to inquiries and resolving concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Collaborate with internal departments to facilitate smooth order entry, production updates, and delivery scheduling.
Generate, review, and follow up on quotes, ensuring accuracy and alignment with pricing, lead times, and customer specifications.
Identify and pursue opportunities to expand existing customer accounts through upselling, cross-selling, and value-added services.
Support large-scale or complex orders by coordinating project timelines, sample approvals, and customer communication.
Investigate and resolve any post-sale issues including returns, complaints, or service claims, ensuring timely follow-up and internal communication.
Assist team leads and Ops Manager with reports, client follow-ups, sales campaigns, and process improvement initiatives.
Support customer sustainability goals by aligning projects with Gasser Chair's environmental initiatives and providing relevant documentation or product details.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, order details, and sales activity within the company's CRM and ERP systems.
Collaboration:
Work cross-functionally to ensure account deliverables are met with precision and efficiency.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
This role is primarily based in an office environment and requires extended periods of sitting, computer use, and communication via phone and email. Occasional travel may be required for client visits or trade shows. The position may also require walking through the manufacturing floor to gather information or support project coordination.
