• Supervises physical therapy assistants and aids in performing treatment.
• Performs initial and ongoing assessments of patients’ conditions.
• Establishes a plan of care that is appropriate to identified problems and involves patients according to their capabilities and desires.
• Plans, prepares, and carries out individually designed programs of physical treatment to maintain, improve, or restore physical functioning, alleviate pain, and prevent physical dysfunction in patients.
• Performs therapy interventions utilizing standard physical therapy techniques and skills appropriate for the age and condition of the patient.
• Administers treatment involving the application of physical agents, using equipment, moist packs, ultraviolet and infrared lamps, and ultrasound machines.

• Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program and a Physical Therapist license in OH.
• BLS certification obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Strong critical‑thinking skills and decisive judgment.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and in a stressful environment, taking appropriate action as needed.
