Part-Time Assistant Manager - Level 2

We’re seeking a Part-Time Assistant Manager – Level 2 to lead the store with energy and enthusiasm. You’ll support the Store Manager in achieving sales targets, recruiting, and developing a high-performing team. Think of yourself as a blend of Harry Potter and Luke Skywalker—ready to handle any challenge while driving sales and building lasting customer relationships.

• Support the Store Manager in achieving sales and community goals.
• Assist in recruiting, developing, and retaining a passionate team.
• Create excitement and engagement through product promotion, social media, and services like BOPIS and curbside pickup.
• Ensure operational excellence, balancing customer service with operational tasks.
• Monitor shrink, loss prevention, payroll, and staff schedules.
• Communicate with retail leadership and HQ about trends and customer feedback.
• Analyze sales data to inform strategies.
• Merchandise the store effectively, launching promotions on time.
• Develop your team to be high-performing and customer-focused.

• 1-2 years of retail management experience, preferably with a passion for music and pop culture.
• Proven success in team leadership, communication, recruiting, operations, and development.
• Strong skills in communication, time management, professionalism, and operational tasks.
• A high school diploma or GED; a degree is a plus.
• Ability to adapt to the fast-paced retail environment and handle physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
