The University of Kansas Health System is seeking a full‑time general Neurologist with headache experience to join its dedicated team on the Liberty Campus, where we prioritize collaboration and patient‑centered excellence.

The successful candidate will be board‑certified in Neurology medicine. Outstanding candidates early in their careers may also apply. The position provides comprehensive care for patients in general neurology and headache clinics, performing inpatient consultations, and participating in on‑call coverage.

• Provide comprehensive care to patients in general neurology and headache clinics.

• MD/DO or equivalent
• Board certified in Neurology
• Eligible for licensure in Kansas and Missouri

• Completion of fellowship training in Headache Medicine

Serving the healthcare needs of the community for over 50 years, Liberty Hospital is a 204‑bed medical center and Level II trauma, STEMI and Stroke center. The facility includes a 20‑bed intensive care unit with intensivists. The hospital’s mission is to work in partnership with our community to improve health, safety, and well‑being of those we serve. Since joining the University of Kansas Health System in July 2024, there have been significant investments in infrastructure and physician recruitment, including the opening of a new Cancer Center on campus.

The city of Liberty is a suburb of Kansas City, offering a public school system, local college, historic downtown, parks and community services. With a population of around 30,000, it provides economic opportunities and a vibrant community 15 minutes from downtown and Kansas City International Airport.

Kansas City offers a diverse cultural heritage, strong economy, vibrant downtown, and recreational opportunities, and hosts major sports teams. It is located 15 minutes from Liberty.
