OverviewAs a Cardiology Technician (EKG Tech), you will work as a part of an integrated care team to deliver the highest quality of care to patients. Cardiology Services is accredited through the American College of Cardiology for Chest Pain/STEMI activation through excellence in service. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with Physicians, Registered Nurses, and ancillary staff throughout the hospital.
This position requires highly functioning critical thinking skills, adaptation, and attention to detail.
- Resting EKG (Time Critical, STAT, Routine, Post-Op Open Heart)
- Holter Monitor Placement
- Nuclear Medicine Myocardial Perfusion Imaging EKG’s
- Collaboration with Registered Nurse/Physician in interpretation of Cardiac Rhythm
- Licensure: BLS Certification within 90 days of hire
- Education:
High school diploma or equivalent - Experience:
One (1) year of recent telemetry experience; 1 year recent EKG experience - Licensure/Certification:
National EKG Certification Exam
