Position Title
Physician Support Coordinator at Liberty Hospital
Position SummaryIs the providers' main point of contact for issues and training and will oversee the training of new providers, training of new initiatives, as well as working with analysts and technical teams for testing and issues resolution related to providers.
Responsibilities- Main point of contact for Physicians and Advanced Practice Provider staff.
- User provisioning of Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers.
- Understand provider workflows and assist analysts with building and testing, as well as suggesting improvement in workflow.
- Actively solicit feedback from providers on projections, documentation, and workflow.
- Create and maintain working relationships with the Medical Staff Office and Physician Liaison to promote open communication and opportunity for improvements.
- Enrollment management of Electronic Prescriptions Controlled Substances including Imprivata and Sunrise applications; understand workflows, functions and applications used by provider staff.
- Develop training materials, tips and tricks information.
- Perform the professional, clinical and or technical competencies of the assigned unit or department.

Education and Experience
- Bachelor Degree in Nursing or Educational Technology or related field, OR
- General Educational Development with clinical licensure, OR
- Associate's Degree with clinical licensure.
- 2 or more years of healthcare experience.
Education and Experience
- Master Degree in Nursing or Educational Technology or related field.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Licensed Registered Nurse (LRN) - Single State - State Board of Nursing.
- Informatics Certification.
- Microsoft Office Suite.
- EMR knowledge for provider workflows, Allscripts preferred.
