Mission description
SUMMARY This position requires a person who is detail oriented and works well with others.
- Ability to read drawings and follow written instructions, including manuals, standard practice and work instructions.
- Stamp, serialize and date stamp vital information (part number, date of vest manufacture, & serial number).
- Reference tools include on the job training and prints.
- Ability to learn to run various machines used in production of vest, including vacuum pack machine, index/test machine, sewing machines, heat seal machines and any other equipment used in the vest process.
- Ability to fold and pack vest.
- Ability to complete very detailed paperwork accurately and quickly.
- Must have good communication skills.
- Must work in a safe manner, maintaining a well‑kept work area.

- Language skills – Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to speak effectively before small groups of customers or employees of an organization.
- Mathematical skills – Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Education and experience – High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Reasoning ability – Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
