Flynn Panera is a franchisee of Panera Bread that operates under a decentralized business model led by a Market Leader. The Team Manager oversees operations of a full-service café, managing up to 75 staff members to deliver a high‑quality, customer‑focused experience.
Position DescriptionAs a Team Manager you will be responsible for leading, coaching, and motivating your team while ensuring a clean, safe, and efficient café environment. Your day‑to‑day duties will include managing the restaurant’s financial performance, overseeing opening/closing procedures, and upholding the brand’s standards of quality and service.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Serve as a role‑model and lead the café team.
- Ensure that team members provide outstanding customer service.
- Take ownership for the business performance of the restaurant.
- Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy environment by following all safety and sanitation standards and procedures.
- Run quality opening, mid‑day, and closing shifts to ensure a consistent, positive customer experience.
- Coordinate the entire operation of the restaurant during scheduled shifts.
- Greet customers and conduct table visits to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Recruit, train, and motivate staff.
- Assist the bakery‑cafe specialist ensuring team members are properly trained and fully competent in all aspects of food service and customer support.
- Ensure objectives are achieved while operating within all company guidelines, cultural values, and ethical business practices.
- Exhibit a professional image and promote the Company’s Values and Beliefs as outlined on the Premier Card.
- At least 1–2 years of hospitality experience.
- Food management certifications are a plus.
- Must have the “Run it Like You Own It” mentality.
- Excellent organization, customer service, and time‑management skills.
- Proven for leadership.
- Passion, energy, and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work under pressure and with a diverse group of people.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

- Must be able to stand and move comfortably for up to ten (10) hours.
- Must be able to safely lift pots, pans, glassware, boxes, etc. up to fifty (50) pounds.
- Must possess the ability to read and write for communication purposes.
- Must have finger and hand dexterity for using small tools and equipment.
