Overview
(Multi-Carrier) Insurance Agent (Base salary + Uncapped commissions) role at Comparion Insurance Agency. This position offers base salary with the opportunity for uncapped commissions and bonuses, with in-office requirements in the Kansas City area.
Pay DetailsBase pay range: $32,000.00/yr - $/yr. Typical training salary is $55k - $65k. Through a combination of base, bonuses, and uncapped commissions, typical total first year compensation ranges from $55k - $75k. Potential for top performers to earn over $100k in their first year. This range is provided by Comparion Insurance Agency; actual pay is based on skills and experience.
Responsibilities- Build and leverage a strong local network and in-person relationships in the community to drive sales.
- Serve customers with auto, home, life and other insurance products from top national and regional carriers.
- Engage in sales activities with a focus on lead generation, prospecting, and closing.
Preferred Experience
- Previous employment in a sales role where you have turned prospects into customers.
- A state insurance license—or willingness to earn one with training and support—in Property & Casualty and Life.
- Effective written and oral communication and presentation skills
- Well-developed persuasion and negotiation skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with prospective and existing customers
- Effective time management and organizational skills
- Ability to learn insurance coverage and underwriting guidelines
- Familiarity with finding, building and growing leads and customer base
