The Sovereign Funds Liaison / Institutional Fund Director will lead Ba Rup On ’s engagement strategy with sovereign wealth funds (SWFs), multilateral development banks, public pension funds, and large‑scale institutional investors. This role is vital to positioning Ba Rup On ’s 450MW energy infrastructure project within international capital markets and unlocking long‑term, strategic investment commitments.

• Identify, approach, and build high‑level relationships with sovereign wealth funds, government‑backed institutions, and global public investors
• Position Ba Rup On  projects within ESG, infrastructure, and clean energy investment frameworks favored by sovereign capital
• Coordinate roadshows, high‑level delegations, and briefings with international finance ministries and investment agencies
• Present financial, technical, and ESG performance of Ba Rup On  projects to SWF stakeholders and investment committees
• Support negotiation of MOUs, strategic equity investments, co‑development partnerships, and public‑private co‑f funding
• Collaborate with project finance, legal, and communications teams to maintain investor documentation, pitch decks, and impact reports
• Monitor global trends in sovereign investment priorities, green infrastructure funding, and cross‑border co‑investment vehicles
• Represent Ba Rup On  at international summits, government forums, and capital placement conferences

• 10+ years of experience in institutional capital markets, sovereign engagement, or government fund relations
• Strong network and proven engagement with SWFs, development banks, or government investment arms (e.g., GIC, Mubadala, ADIA, Temasek, PIF, etc.)
• Deep knowledge of global infrastructure finance, ESG policy, and sovereign investment strategy
• Ability to manage long‑cycle deals, formal protocols, and international negotiation frameworks
• Bachelor’s degree in International Finance, Public Policy, or Business;
  Master’s or MBA preferred
• Excellent interpersonal, diplomatic, and cross‑cultural communication skills

• Experience in clean energy, sustainable infrastructure, or impact investing
• Familiarity with global public pension funds, DFIs (e.g., IFC, OPIC/DFC, EIB), and national development banks
• Bilingual or multilingual capabilities preferred (Arabic, French, Mandarin, or Spanish highly valued)
• Experience navigating sovereign co‑investment approval pipelines and legal due diligence processes
