Machine Builder

JOB DESCRIPTION

Will work Monday-Friday from 7:00AM-3:30PM with occasional overtime, currently working 50-55 hours a week with some Saturdays. The automation company has two locations Liberty, South Carolina and Greenville, South Carolina. The candidate will need to have the ability to work at both locations.

• Assembly of equipment per mechanical drawings.
• Ensure that changes and problems get documented and communicated.
• Carry out assigned tasks with minimum direct supervision.
• Execute ISO Quality standards.
• Communicate with the Machine Build Lead on open issues and progress during the build process.
• Effectively and safely operate:
  Mill, Lathe, and Drill Press.

• Basic computer skills.
• Intermediate proficiency reading part and assembly drawings.
• Proven mechanical aptitude with a focus on safety and quality.
• Proven ability to accept direction and complete tasks as assigned while working as part of a team or individually.
• Ability to maintain a steady pace while bending, kneeling, climbing ladders, and climbing onto and beneath machines.
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs. as required.
• Ability to obtain a Hi-Lo (Forklift), Aerial Platform and Overhead Crane license, along with Lock Out Tag Out training, while employed at the company.
• Must provide own hand tools and toolbox suitable for the job (a list of those recommended will be provided).
• Travel at least 20% of the time may be required. This may include domestic and international travel depending on the project.

High school diploma, or equivalent certification. Related vocational education preferred.
