Job Description:

Preventive Maintenance Techs are responsible for performing tasks on machinery and equipment to promote consistent and reliable operation of key components.

Responsibilities:

Check and record fluid levels, cleanliness, and temperatures of various coolants, oils as required

Identify early warning signs of potential equipment failure (unusual data readings, noises, sounds, smells, other indicators)
Use basic monitoring tools to gather data from equipment (temperature guns, multimeters, ammeters, etc.)Communicate with equipment operators to gather feedback on machine reliability and performance

Suggest changes and improvements to be made to maintain equipment reliability and performance

Perform basic maintenance tasks as directed (bolt on/off (piping, valves, etc.) adding fluids, changing filters, purging/bleeding systems)
Communicating with operators and maintenance team regarding additional actions needed to promote equipment reliability

Assist maintenance team with projects/repairs as needed

Education:

High School or equivalent. Basic knowledge of electrical and/or mechanical equipment
