Job SummaryResponsible for providing high‑quality critical care, including assessment, triage, and treatment, utilizing standards and guidelines established by HCA Houston Healthcare Air Life Medical Directors. The Flight Nurse assesses the nature and extent of illness or injury to establish and prioritize the care needed for safe transport of the critical patient to the appropriate facility and carries out the mission and goals of HCA Houston Healthcare Air Life, ensuring safety remains the highest priority throughout the transport continuum.
Qualifications- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing, BSN preferred.
- Minimum three (3) years of recent critical care/emergency nursing experience within the last five (5) years, or as required by state/local EMS regulations.
- Current TX RN license(s).
- Current certifications in BLS/CPR, ACLS, PALS or equivalent.
- TNCC/ITLS/PHTLS advanced provider.
