- Meets and instructs assigned classes in the locations and at the times designated.
- Attends meetings as required under the current contract.
- Is available to students, parents, staff and administrators for education-related purposes during the school workday.
- Supports the district's philosophy of education.
- Recognizes pupil needs and seeks the assistance of other professional staff in helping pupils solve social, emotional, physical, and academic problems.
- Plans and implements a program of study within the established curriculum that meets the individual needs and abilities of the students.
- Prepares for classes assigned and shares preparation activities with the building principal, upon request.
- Fosters a classroom environment that is conducive to learning.
- Establishes clear objectives and communicates these to students.
- Guides the learning process toward the achievement of curriculum goals.
- Employs a variety of instructional techniques and media consistent with the needs, capabilities, and interests of the students involved.

Principal (Assistant Principal when applicable) - EVALUATION:
Evaluated annually by Building Principal, Assistant Principal, Superintendent, Director of Curriculum & Instruction, or Director of Special Services as assigned and in accordance with provisions of the Board of Education Policy on Evaluation of Personnel.
