Libertyville School District 70 is seeking a Para educator for the Structured Learning Classroom for the school year. We are seeking a paraprofessional with experience and expertise in autism to join our team. This role involves supporting students with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) and behavioral challenges, facilitating their inclusion in the classroom, and helping them achieve their educational goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of behavior management strategies, individualized education plans (IEPs), and autism-specific interventions.

Life, Medical and Dental Insurance; and an annual $550 457 Contribution. The pay rate is $19.93 per hour (ELS PARA or SUB) or $21.00 per hour with a PEL.
- Appropriate State of Illinois Para educator Approval
- Associate Degree required, with a TEACCH certification preferred
- At least 1-3 years of experience working with students with autism and/or behavioral challenges, preferably in an educational setting.
- Familiarity with autism-specific interventions, behavior management techniques, and individualized education plans.
- Familiar with Star and PCI curriculum
