Cyd Lash Academy Cyd Lash provides an alternative high school setting, which uses a team approach, a variety of program models and support services to meet the unique academic, emotional and social needs of the students. Students must be deemed eligible for this setting by their home district’s IEP team. Cyd Lash Academy uses the Circle of Courage model to guide the therapeutic approach used with students.

Description: The Special Education District of Lake County is seeking a .5 CADC for our District for the  school year. This person is directly responsible for providing consultation to educational teams to teach socially acceptable behavior for our students. Techniques such as behavior modification and positive reinforcement will be employed along with problem solving strategies. The Behavior Specialist is the team leader for the student and is responsible for coordinating the necessary education, supportive services and general education services to meet each child's needs.

per FY25 $ 44,799 - $72,440 (FY26 contract under negotiation), based on education and experience.
