Quality is the core of our business — and we are now hiring a full-time QA Engineer to lead quality operations at our U.S. facility.
About the RoleThe QA Engineer is responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and compliance of all incoming materials, in-process assemblies, and outgoing RF/microwave products. This role manages daily quality operations inside a controlled assembly and test environment, oversees automated and manual RF test processes, and builds out the company’s quality infrastructure.
A major responsibility will be to establish, implement, and maintain ISO 9001 at the U.S. site. In the future, this role will also support certification upgrades such as AS9100 and other aerospace and military standards.
This is a hands‑on, technical position for someone who thrives in a precision engineering environment and can uphold the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities Incoming & In-Process Quality- Perform incoming inspection for MMICs, RF components, PCBs, QFN packages, housings, and assemblies.
- Enforce cleanroom discipline, ESD controls, and material handling procedures.
- Conduct visual inspections under microscope for FEMs and RF module assemblies.
- Record and track nonconformances (NCRs) and work closely with engineering on resolution.
- Review RF test data from VNAs, spectrum analyzers, power meters, and automated ATE systems.
- Approve or reject lots based on key RF parameters (S-parameters, gain, P1dB, NF, linearity, etc.).
- Support engineering with yield analysis, data trending, and test method improvements.
- Establish and maintain ISO 9001 processes, documentation, and audit readiness.
- Maintain controlled documents including SOPs, work instructions, and inspection logs.
- Perform internal audits and process checks according to ISO requirements.
- Prepare customer‑facing quality documentation (CoC, test reports, compliance statements).
- Ensure all measurement equipment (VNAs, spectrum analyzers, thermal chambers, etc.) is calibrated and fully operational.
- Maintain calibration schedules, verification logs, and service records.
- Coordinate with supply chain on supplier performance and quality issues.
- Verify outgoing shipments meet specifications, traceability requirements, and customer documentation needs.
- Support root‑cause analysis and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
- Contribute to readiness for AS9100 or other aerospace standards.
- Collaborate with global Super Apex locations on shared quality processes as operations expand.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field.
- Hands‑on experience with RF/microwave testing (S-parameters, gain, P1dB, NF, linearity, etc.).
- Strong understanding of quality control, inspection methods, and technical documentation.
- Experience working under ISO 9001 or similar Quality Management Systems.
- Ability to read PCB layouts, RF schematics, and assembly drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with cleanroom protocols, ESD control, and moisture‑sensitive devices.
- Experience with automated RF test systems (Python, LabVIEW, ATE platforms).
- Background in semiconductor, RF module, microwave, or high‑frequency component manufacturing.
- Knowledge of QFN/LGA packaging, FEM architecture, and RF module assembly processes.
- Experience with SPC, FMEA, reliability testing, or statistical quality methods.
