This is an excellent opportunity for a licensed professional who enjoys building relationships and delivering exceptional client service without the pressure of bringing an existing book of business. There are no sales requirements for this role. As we continue to grow, the goal is to transition a portion of our client base to this advisor. This role focuses on financial planning and delivering strategies that help clients achieve their goals.
Advisors are responsible for managing client portfolios, creating financial plans, and ensuring alignment with risk tolerance and investment objectives.
- Schedule and lead planning meetings—whether initial consultations, portfolio reviews, or strategic sessions—to help clients work toward their financial goals
- Prepare and deliver financial plans via Money Guide Pro software
- Execute trades and money movements
- Foster deep, ongoing relationships by providing solutions aligned with each client's unique financial circumstances
- Respond to client questions and requests as needed
- Comply with regulatory, corporate, and practice guidelines
- Ideally, 5+ years of experience
- SIE, Series 7, Series 66 and IL Life and Health required (CFP® preferred but not required)
- Ability to work from our Libertyville office with flexibility for client meetings
- Pleasant, professional and friendly manner with excellent interpersonal skills
- Highly organized, accurate, and attention to detail
- Proven analytical and independent problem-solving skills
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Office products including PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Outlook
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong personal and business ethics and integrity
