Illinois Bone & Joint Institute is hiring a Physical Therapist at our Libertyville location. New graduate Physical Therapists are encouraged to apply.
Job Summary
The Physical Therapist reports to the Facility Manager and focuses on delivering superior outpatient rehabilitation services through a collaborative care model with physicians to optimize patient performance and quality of function.
Job Type
Full-time.
Salary
$80,000 - $100,000 per annum.

- Provide exceptional patient care and establish treatment plans based on physician orders
- Perform initial evaluations, set functional goals, and update goals as needed
- Document patient status in compliance with IBJI guidelines
- Determine appropriate discharge timelines and follow‑up care
- Supervise rehabilitation technicians and administrative staff as required
- Maintain accurate billing practices and current knowledge of billing policies
- Keep active state license by earning required CEUs
- Build positive relationships with physician teams and participate in multidisciplinary visits and case management
- Actively engage in IBJI programs such as mentoring, clinical education, and community outreach
- Graduate from an accredited physical therapy program
- Licensed or eligible to sit for boards in Illinois
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Capable of lifting >25 lbs and standing/sitting for extended periods
- Understanding of proper body mechanics for lifting, pulling, and pushing
- Proficiency in computer use for documentation and charting
