V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a Sourcing & Procurement Manager for our premier client in Libertyville, IL
.
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Operations, or Engineering. APICS (CPIM/CSCP) or CPSM certifications are a strong plus.
- 7+ years of progressive procurement experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 3 years directly managing Chinese supplier networks and international logistics.
Skills and Abilities
- Advanced proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and data analysis tools (e.g., advanced Excel modeling, business intelligence tools) to forecast and manage inventory ratios.
Job Responsibilities
- Cross-Functional Alignment:
Partner with Plant Managers, Quality Control, and Engineering teams to validate alternative materials and ensure a seamless pipeline of material availability. - Supplier Relationship Management (SRM):
Manage and develop relationships with international suppliers, monitoring key metrics such as quality, lead-time reliability, and financial stability.
