• Perform daily rounds of the production floor to empty aluminum chip bins from CNC machining centers.
• Operate the PRAB chip processing system to transfer aluminum chips safely and efficiently.
• Maintain equipment, tools, and work areas in safe, organized condition.
• Monitor and maintain the waste oil and water pump station, including removing and replacing totes as needed.
• Conduct routine janitorial and housekeeping duties, including cleaning restrooms, mopping floors, emptying trash and recycling containers, and maintaining grounds.
• Perform weekly coolant concentration testing, record results, and submit reports to the Supervisor.
• Refill CNC machines with proper oils and fluids weekly.
• Assist Maintenance Mechanics in equipment repairs and preventative maintenance.
• Perform basic maintenance tasks such as replacing air filters, emptying oil bins, and cleaning coolant spills.
• Ensure compliance with all Geremarie safety procedures, regulations, and policies.
• Identify material types (Aluminum, Stainless Steel, Brass) to ensure proper handling and disposal.
• Accurately document maintenance activities using company systems and electronic logs.
• Support other maintenance or production-related tasks as assigned.
• Work occasional overtime as needed to meet production and maintenance demands.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand and power tools safely.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Prior experience in industrial or facilities maintenance preferred but not required.
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.

A reasonable estimate of the hourly pay range for this role is $30- $35 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location.
