Minimum Requirements:Graduation from an accredited nursing program;Registered Professional Nurse (RN) License;5 years or more experience as a Registered Nurse preferred;First Aid, CPR and AED Certification preferred;Child Hearing and Vision Testing Certification preferred;Certified School Nurse license through the Illinois State Board of Education preferred;School Nurse experience in a large school setting preferred;Bilingual - Spanish preferred.Must be able to complete Professional Educator License and receive Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) and/or Certified School Nurse within two (2) years of appointment;Incumbents in this class may be required to travel between buildings.JOB SUMMARY:This position is accountable for providing a full range of professional nursing care services for the District.
