This program introduces high‑potential young professionals to the industry, providing a structured pathway for long‑term success here at Aldridge.

What we are looking for:

As a top leader in the industry, we created a program that is designed to introduce young professionals to the trades and allow them to build a pathway here ridge's Track to the Trades program is tailored to recent high school graduates to facilitate their seamless integration into our processes and projects. Participants in this program can expect training sessions, hands‑on activities, and on‑the‑job learning experiences that will equip them with the knowledge and skills needed to perform their jobs successfully.

They will also work collaboratively with project teams and learn about the trades and the different avenues that they can lead to.

A day in the life:

Participants will immediately integrate into our projects through a mix of training sessions, hands‑on activities, and on‑the‑job learning. You’ll work alongside seasoned project teams and gain a comprehensive understanding of the various trades and career avenues available.

Duties include:
  • Gaining exposure to our different types of trades
  • Learning Field Engineers' and Project Managers' responsibilities
  • Working hands‑on with Pre Fab, warehouse, and project teams
  • Learning to read blueprints and assist with material takeoffs and building processes
  • Gaining valuable welding experience and knowledge of industry tools
  • Opportunity to obtain your official forklift certification
  • Possibly traveling to active job sites to see and learn critical safety observation techniques
  • Engaging in physical tasks, including moving materials, climbing ladders, and lifting loads overhead

  • Able to follow direction and take initiative
  • A commitment to punctuality, reliability, and working safely

Subject to local Union pay rates per the applicable Collective Bargaining Agreement. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
