KS2 SEN Teaching Assistant

This full-time role offers the opportunity to work 1:1 with a Key Stage 2 student who requires special educational support. You will play a vital role in their academic and personal development, offering guidance, care, and tailored support to help them thrive.

What You'll Be Doing:

* Provide 1:1 support to a child in Key Stage 2 with special educational needs, assisting them with their learning and development.

* Work closely with the class teacher to adapt the curriculum and ensure the student can access learning at their level.

* Support the student with social interaction and emotional development, helping them engage with their peers.

* Track and report on the student's progress, contributing to their IEPs (Individual Education Plans).

What We're Looking For:

* Experience working with children with SEN in a school setting, particularly in a 1:1 capacity.

* A patient, understanding, and flexible approach to learning support.

* Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise with staff and parents effectively.

* A Level 2 or 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning is desirable.
