The Role
Vision for Education is seeking enthusiastic and adaptable Teachers of Social Sciences to work across a variety of secondary schools in Birmingham.
We are looking for teachers with experience teaching subjects such as PSHE, Humanities, Sociology, Psychology, Religious Education, Citizenship and related social science subjects
.
Whether you're an experienced teacher looking for greater flexibility or an Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking to gain valuable classroom experience, we have a range of opportunities available.
You will be responsible for delivering engaging and well-structured lessons, following school schemes of work, managing classroom behaviour and ensuring students remain focused and engaged with their learning.
The SchoolsVision for Education works with a wide range of secondary schools across Birmingham, including academies, maintained schools and multi-academy trusts.

RequirementsThe successful Social Sciences Teacher will have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- A recognised PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching within a UK secondary school.
- Experience teaching PSHE, Humanities, Sociology, Psychology, RE, Citizenship or related subjects
. - Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver engaging lessons.
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- A flexible, reliable and professional approach.
- A genuine commitment to supporting students and their learning.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
