Position: Junior HR Advisor (Temporary)

Full-time 37.5 hours per week

We are partnering with our client to recruit a dedicated Junior HR Advisor to join their team on a temporary basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for an HR professional to provide expert employee relations support and ensure compliance with company policies and employment law.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the HR inbox daily, prioritising enquiries and assigning cases appropriately.
  • Prepare and distribute daily staff lists and case reports.
  • Act as a first point of contact for managers, offering guidance on disciplinary, grievance, performance management, absence, flexible working, probation and other ER matters.
  • Flag potential high‑risk or safeguarding cases to Senior HR Advisors or HR Business Partners.
  • Manage lower‑level employee relations cases from start to finish, ensuring timely resolution and compliance with CQC and safeguarding requirements.
  • Support absence management including sickness, AWOL and occupational health referrals.
  • Take minutes at formal meetings and provide HR advice as required.
  • Maintain accurate records, case notes and HR files in line with GDPR.
  • Identify and process DBS referrals, including reviewing risk assessments and implementing appropriate measures.
  • Assist with HR reporting projects and ad hoc initiatives.
  • Stay up to date with employment legislation to provide accurate and compliant advice.
What We're Looking For
  • Previous experience in employee relations, HR advisory or case management.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and HR policies.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently and proactively.
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Competent in IT systems and HR software.
  • Commitment to promoting equality, diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
