Modern Workplace Specialist Hybrid | Lichfield (Group Support) | 37.5 hours per week
About the RoleWe're looking for a Modern Workplace Specialist to join our Group Support team and play a key role in delivering and evolving Voyage Care's Modern Workplace environment.
What You'll Be Doing- Configuring, maintaining, and optimising Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and One Drive
- Providing high-quality end-user support and resolving Modern Workplace-related issues
- Supporting and maintaining Microsoft Autopilot to enable efficient device provisioning and lifecycle management
- Managing devices using Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune) and ensuring policy compliance
- Packaging, deploying, and maintaining software applications, with a focus on automation where possible
- Supporting security and compliance across Microsoft 365 and Azure environments
- Enhancing collaboration and productivity through Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and related tools
- Supporting Azure Virtual Desktop / Windows Virtual Desktop and wider Azure integrations
- Managing mobile devices, including:
- Android devices (particularly Samsung) using Samsung Knox
- Apple iOS devices via Apple Business Manager
- Supporting the delivery and ongoing operation of a secure BYOD environment
- Producing clear documentation and delivering training to users and IT colleagues
We're open to candidates at different stages of their career. You might be:
- An experienced Modern Workplace professional with proven delivery experience, or
- Earlier in your career, with strong technical foundations, curiosity, and the ability to demonstrate your capability through hands-on work or projects
Key skills include:
- Microsoft 365 administration and Modern Workplace tooling
- Endpoint and device management (Intune)
- Azure services and cloud-based solutions
- Scripting or automation to improve efficiency
- A strong understanding of security, compliance, and cloud best practice
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Confident communicating technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Customer-focused, with an emphasis on user experience
- Able to work independently and collaboratively
- Committed to continuous learning and professional development
- Degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field
- Microsoft certifications such as:
- Microsoft 365 Certified:
Modern Desktop Administrator Associate - Teams Administrator Associate
- Security Administrator Associate
- Or equivalent experience
- Microsoft 365 Certified:
