Maintenance Engineer Staffordshire

We have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Florette in Lichfield, WS13 8NF
.

This role is t o m aintain , repair and improve machinery, equipment and facilities to ensure safe, reliable and efficient operations . Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot technical issues and support continuous improvement initiatives to minimise downtime, extend asset life and optimize performance.

Working hours:

5 on 5 off, 4on 4 off (Days/Nights)

Pay: £51000 per annum

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production and packaging equipment.
• Tro ubles hoot mechanical, electrical and automation issues to minimise downti me.
• Support equipment installation, commissioning, and modification projects.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with GMP, HACCP, and food safety standards.
• Document maintenance work and maintain accurate records in the CMMS system.
• Work closely wi th production, quality, and hygiene teams to resolve equipment-related issues.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase equipment reliability and performance.
• Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Completion of a recognised engineering qualification with an electrical bias.
• Solid engineering experience, ideally within food manufacturing.
• Familiarity with process machinery or equivalent equipment with the ability to logically diagnose and fault find.
• Awareness and understanding of statutory requirements and legislation.
• Experience with maintenance management systems (CMMS) and engineering documentation.
• Excellen t communication and problem solving skills.
