In this role, the successful Welder / Fabricator will work on a range of vehicles, trailers, and commercial equipment. You will be responsible for fabricating and repairing vehicle components, chassis, frames, and bodywork, working from engineering drawings and specifications. The role will involve MIG and TIG welding, fault repair, and modification work to a high standard. You will become a key member of the workshop team, with opportunities to support and train apprentices.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience welding and fabricating within a vehicle, fleet, HGV, plant, or automotive environment and be looking to join a company that values technical skill, development, and long-term progression.

• Fabrication and welding of vehicle components, chassis, and frames
• MIG and TIG welding on steel and other metals
• Repairing, modifying, and reinforcing vehicle structures
• Working from engineering drawings and specifications
• Ensuring high-quality workmanship and safety compliance
• Opportunity to mentor and train apprentices

• Experienced Welder / Fabricator with vehicle-based experience
• Background in automotive, HGV, fleet, plant, or commercial vehicles
  
  Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Welding qualifications (desirable but not essential)
• Strong attention to detail and workshop experience
