Position: Registered Veterinary Nurse (Full or Part-Time)

We are seeking an enthusiastic, team-orientated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Grange Hill Vets on a full-time or part-time basis.

Grange Hill Vets is a friendly, bright and airy practice located on the outskirts of Lichfield, offering the perfect blend of city convenience and countryside tranquility. Our rural setting, natural daylight and free on-site parking help create a positive and welcoming working environment.

As a small practice, we pride ourselves on our supportive team culture, where everyone works together to provide the best possible care for our patients. This is a varied and engaging role where you'll be involved across nurse clinics, theatre, anaesthesia, consultations and pharmacy support.

How You'll Make a Difference

As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high-quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences.

You'll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards, and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice.

Working Pattern
  • Full-time or part-time applications considered
  • Full-time: 36 hours per week, worked over 4 or 5 days between 8:15am and 7:00pm
  • Part-time: 25 hours per week, worked over 3 or 4 days between 8:15am and 7:00pm, Monday to Friday
  • 1 in 4 Saturdays, 8:45am to 2:45pm
General Responsibilities
  • Deliver high standards of nursing care across a varied first opinion caseload
  • Run consultations and nurse clinics, supporting preventative healthcare and client education
  • Support surgical procedures, including anaesthesia monitoring and theatre nursing
  • Assist with patient care, recovery and clinical workflow throughout the day
