- Greeting customers and providing assistance
- Quality‑checking donated items before sale
- Ensuring all donation goods are in good condition
- Pricing items for display
- Housekeeping in the stock room
- Replenishing stock on the shop floor
- Interest in the shop and enthusiasm for raising money through its work
- Ability to work as part of a team with other volunteers
- High standards, ensuring displayed items are top quality
- Willingness to help with a range of tasks and to undertake requested duties
- Gain a variety of experience for your CV
- Learn new skills such as customer service, communication and teamwork
- Meet new people and join your local community
- Receive all necessary training, including GUEST customer‑service training

This volunteering role is for a fixed term of 6 months for individuals completing their Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award. You must complete the required hours to have your award signed off. The minimum age for this role is 15 years old.
