Pure Staff are currently recruiting for a Van Driver working on behalf of our well-established customer based in the Lichfield area. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Van Driver looking for ongoing work with a professional transport operation and a company that genuinely values its drivers.

Our customer is a highly regarded furniture retailer and home furnishings business, delivering quality furniture directly to customers’ homes throughout the region.

This role operates with accrued holiday pay
, meaning holiday entitlement is accrued in addition to your hourly rate and paid when annual leave is taken.

As a Van Driver
, you will be working alongside a driver’s mate completing home furniture deliveries across local and regional areas.

Your duties will include:

• Completing between 6 and 12 deliveries per shift
• Delivering furniture directly to customers’ homes
• Working closely with a driver’s mate
• Completing POD (Proof of Delivery) documentation accurately
• Providing excellent customer service at all times
• Representing the business professionally while on customer sites
• Following all transport and health & safety procedures

This role is within the home delivery and furniture distribution industry
, offering a varied working day and regular customer interaction.

• Monday to Friday
• 6:00am starts
• Typical shifts between 8 and 12 hours
• Ongoing work available

To be considered for this Van Driver role, you will need:

• Previous multi-drop or delivery driving experience preferred
• Full UK driving licence
• Ability to complete delivery paperwork accurately
• Reliable and professional approach to work
• Ability to work effectively as part of a two-person delivery team
