Clinic Assistant - Otolaryngology

Kaua'i Medical Clinic is the island’s largest clinic and only multispecialty medical group. More than 85 physicians and midlevel providers offer primary and specialty care at clinic locations in Eleele, Kapaa, Koloa and Lihue.

In the Otolaryngology department, our board-certified physicians specialize in the diagnosis, treatment and surgery of the ear, nose, throat and related structures of the head and neck. This team of professionals oversees patients with loss of hearing or balance; sinus troubles; injuries to the ears, nose or throat; cancer and tumors of the head and neck; infections and deformities of the ear, nose, throat or neck;

and foreign bodies in the upper respiratory tract.

You could gain valuable first-hand clinical operations and health care experience as a Clinic Assistant. In this role you would perform routine tasks ranging from monitoring supplies to administering health care to patients of all ages to supporting departmental staff. Minimum Qualifications: High school or equivalent. Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR card. Must be able to complete departmental competency assessment by end of orientation period.

Preferred Qualifications: Basic medical terminology. Completion of medical assistant program and/or equivalent experience.
