Pay Grade: 11- $71,300 - $75,500 annually
RoleThe IT Business Analyst serves as a liaison between the IT department and business units, ensuring that technology solutions effectively align with and support business objectives. This role facilitates clear communication of decisions, priorities, and project updates to stakeholders at all levels, including staff and management. The IT Business Analyst collaborates with internal teams and external third parties to drive projects to successful completion – delivering solutions on time, within scope and aligned with business coordinating project tasks, and maintaining up‑to‑date status reporting to ensure transparency and process throughout the project life cycle.
EssentialFunctions
- 30% Facilitate requirements elicitation sessions with stakeholders to capture and define business needs. Document business requirements, business rules, and workflows clearly and consistently. Translate business needs into technical specifications. Identify, analyze, and resolve business system issues related to requirements.
- 25% Serve as a liaison between the IT team and business units to support product development, system upgrades, and new releases. Establish and manage project timelines, milestones, and deliverables using appropriate tools. Manage resources efficiently and communicate potential risks to project success. Maintain clear communication and manage expectations of diverse stakeholders, simplifying technical concepts for non‑technical audiences.
- 20% Coordinate and perform end‑user acceptance testing (UAT) and systems testing. Validate that solutions meet both business and technical requirements. Participate in data quality validation and conduct post‑implementation reviews to assess effectiveness.
- 15% Analyze existing business processes to identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks. Provide recommendations and assist with implementing workflow improvements to boost productivity.
- 10% Assist users with routine software, hardware, and procedural issues. Support IT team members with operational challenges and ensure smooth day‑to‑day business operations and data processing. Supports maturity efforts for the Information Security compliance program.
Must comply with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control, in addition to all company policies.

Education, Experience, Certifications and or Licenses:
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, information systems, business, or related field; OR Associate degree from an accredited college with a minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience; OR High School diploma or equivalent plus four (4) years of relevant experience.
Two to Five years of similar or related experience, including time spent in preparatory positions. Solid understanding of information technology, business analysis, and project management principles. Proven problem‑solving skills with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions. Hands‑on experience with project management methodologies and active participation in major IT projects. Ability to translate business needs into clear technical and process requirements.
Demonstrated capability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure. Industry‑recognized certifications in business analysis (e.g. CBAP, CCBA) or project management (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2) preferred.
