Job Description

Manages sales campaigns with the goal of scheduling appointments for sales to enhance productivity or gaining business through direct quotes and follow-ups. Assesses customer satisfaction with MTG products and services via surveys and provides insights to address concerns. Collaborates closely with SBU Sales Leaders, Sales, Corporate Marketing, and Customer Service.

Position Accountabilities
  • Place outbound calls to schedule appointments with new or existing customers, notify sales of scheduled times, and follow up to ensure customer satisfaction and needs are met.
  • Provide quotes or complete sales directly when appropriate to generate new business.
  • Identify problematic situations or opportunities that could protect or generate new business for MTG and communicate these to the relevant teams for follow-up.
  • Restock store merchandise as needed, organize stock on shelves or racks, and keep merchandise orderly. Mark or ticket merchandise accordingly.
  • Manage requests for product, pricing, and technical information.
  • Assist in warehouse tasks such as shipping, receiving, inventory stocking, cleaning, and labeling.
  • Maintain showroom cleanliness following management procedures.
  • Identify lead sources and manage pre-qualification processes collaboratively with sales and marketing.
  • Track the results of outbound campaign efforts.
  • Support inbound customer service as needed.
  • Comply with all DOT and OSHA regulations and observe safety rules strictly.
  • Perform other assigned projects and duties.
  • Qualifications
    • High School diploma or prior experience in outbound calling, inside sales, outside sales, or marketing is desirable.
    • Excellent customer service skills and ability to manage customer relationships.
    • Ability to work independently under pressure to meet deadlines.
    • Effective communication skills for explaining information to customers and colleagues.
    • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
    • Ability to learn MTG’s business, products, organizational structure, and transaction systems.
    • Proficient telephone communication skills.
    • Strong organizational skills.
    • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
    Physical Demands

    Frequent standing, moving, reaching, handling, and constant talking and hearing, with occasional sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling, stooping, kneeling, and crawling.
