Pay Rate: $22.50 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $1.96. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee
As an Airport Security Professional - Red Team in Lihue, HI, you will safeguard the airport, staff, and its facilities. Along with driving, patrolling, checking, and securing doors. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal serving a government location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment for all visitors and staff.

- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including the business areas and perimeter, to help deter unauthorized activity and/or security-related incidents.
- Observe and report any suspicious activities, hazards, or security-related incidents to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives as required.
- Monitor access points and assist in controlling entry to restricted areas as directed by site procedures.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and daily activities according to site and Allied Universal protocols.
- Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and the public to provide information and assistance as needed at the location.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- At least one year of security-related experience is required.
- Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
