As an Airport Security Professional in Lihue, HI, you will safeguard the airport, staff, and its facilities. Along with driving, patrolling, checking, and securing doors. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal serving a government location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment for all visitors and staff. Full Time - Afternoon/Morning

$22.50 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $1.96. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, as well as participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order at the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report any suspicious activities or hazards encountered during patrols to the appropriate personnel.
• Communicate professionally with visitors, staff, and the public while upholding Allied Universal standards.
• Complete required logs, reports, and documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and/or providing directions as needed.

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
