Job Description

As an Airport Security Professional in Lihue, HI, you will safeguard the airport, staff, and facilities. You will drive, patrol, check, and secure doors. As an unarmed patrol officer, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to deter incidents and maintain a secure environment for all visitors and staff. Your visible presence and customer‑service focus will support the overall mission of the location.

Position Type — Part‑Time, Overnight

Pay Rate — $22.50 per hour plus a $1.96 hourly bonus; additional premium paid based on hours actually worked.

• Valid Driver’s License (minimum 1 year)

What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security procedures and following site-specific policies, including responding to emergencies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols through the location and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas to deter unauthorized access and report suspicious activity.
• Document and report incidents, observations, or hazards encountered during patrols per Allied Universal protocols.
• Work in various environments and conditions as required by the location, adapting to different scenarios as needed.

Minimum Requirements

• At least 1 year of security‑related experience.
• 21+ years of age.
• CPR certification preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background investigation per federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal considers qualified applicants with criminal histories per applicable laws.
• Subject to drug screen when permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment per state or local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.
