Pay Rate: $28.86 per hour with an hourly bonus of $3.58. Premium paid based on hours actually worked.

Job Schedule:

• Friday 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• Sunday 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM

• Minimum 2+ years of professional law‑enforcement experience in the U.S. after graduating from a certified law‑enforcement academy (Federal, State, or County level).
• Graduate of a Law Enforcement or Military Police Training Program or equivalent (credentials required).
• Valid driver’s license and Law Enforcement Officer license.
• Age 22 or older.
• No felony convictions or convictions for abuse of a household member under the Lautenberg Amendment to the Gun Control Act of 1968 (18 U.S.C. § 922(g)(9)), nor any documented truthfulness infractions under Giglio/Henthorn.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license for driving duties.

• Mentally and emotionally capable of performing all duties required for the assigned Post/duties.
• In good physical health and fully capable of performing normal or emergency duties requiring moderate to arduous physical exertion such as standing, walking, patrolling an entire shift, climbing stairs, running, and self‑defense.
• Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 25 lbs. for a designated distance.
• Ability to assist in the safe evacuation of individuals, including carrying a small child or supporting persons with limited mobility.
• Subject to a random drug screen; must pass a 12‑panel drug test and future testing.
• Correctable vision to 20/30 each eye with normal color vision; hearing aid may be used.
• Must successfully pass a security background check conducted by the DOTA Pass and e.
• Well‑groomed and neat in appearance as officially commissioned representatives of the State.
• Must pass a one‑time physical examination within the past 6 months.

• Provide customer service and carry out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with problem‑solving skill.
• Exercise sound judgment and make immediate, appropriate decisions under stressful conditions.
• Maintain maturity in conduct, behavior, and attitude, and follow instructions with ownership of actions.
• Remain alert, attentive, and professional, recognizing and responding to situations appropriately.
• Maintain high moral character, truthfulness, and strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Interact courteously with the public, airport employees, tenants, law enforcement, and security personnel.
• May be required to attend court proceedings for citations issued on behalf of DOTA; replacement staffing will be provided.
