Job SummaryThis position reports to the General Manager and oversees a package sortation process that includes sorting packages by zip code, palletizing by zip code, and managing the loading of pallets onto trucks for delivery. The operation runs evening to early morning shifts, 5 days per week, with occasional weekend work.
Pay Range$65,000 per year DOE

- Oversee the sortation process to ensure compliance with company and client standards and metrics
- Manage and oversee subcontracted ramp operations
- Ensure sortation team members are trained to perform their assigned role
- Ensure the sortation team complies with TSA requirements
- Manage mis‑sorts and damaged packages per procedure
- Prepare and issue customer required reports on time
- Report safety, security, and theft incidents
- Conduct daily safety briefings at the start of the shift
- Manage the loading of pallets/gaylords onto the assigned truck for delivery to the designated post office
- Develop sortation team members for job progression and sufficient bench depth
- Ensure compliance with customer information and security requirements
- Be punctual for work assignments
- Maintain a neatly groomed appearance
- Demonstrate internal and external customer service
- Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies
- Perform other duties as required
- Customer service oriented, friendly, helpful, and professional disposition
- Ability to work in a fast paced and ever changing environment
- Ability to manage people effectively and strong management skills
- Capability to pass a background check for required badging
- Excellent organization, communication (written and verbal), and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
- Self‑motivated, able to multi‑task and work effectively under minimal supervision, strong problem‑solving skills
- Computer skills (Microsoft Word and Excel) required for email and customer reports
- Consistent capability of working cooperatively with others in a team environment
The work requires routine walking, standing, bending, and carrying items weighing less than fifty pounds. Moving items over fifty pounds will be done using team lift. Must meet physical lifting requirement of 50 lbs.
